Looking for a watch. Specifically, a diver's watch. I need one for (wait for it, WAIT FOR IT) the Boat, so I can go to the hot tub or spa or whatever and be able to know what time it is without having to climb out of the water, which is a huge pain in the ass. Really. It would also be helpful as a camping watch, for much the same reason -- I forget how long I'm out there sometimes.
Anyway, searching for one is a big pain. Work has blocked eBay again (they finally remembered), so that's out. And besides, the old Soviet diver watches are much more expensive than they were.
Swatch's website is particularly useless. They have a Swatch finder thing, but water resistance is not one of the things you can search for. And it should be. They're all 30M unless specified, but you can't search for something specified 200M. Bullshit.
Amazon has a few options, all a lot more than I had in mind to pay. There's a $53 Casio on there that would do the trick, but then needs $15 shipping for it, and I'm not paying $70 for a fucking Casio.
Now to search for a Casio retailer that sells that watch, and good fucking luck with that. Sears doesn't have it. And if not Sears, then... Umm...
OK -- I don't need a waterproof watch. It'd be nice. It's just frustrating that this thing which should be very easy to search for is proving much more difficult than I would ever have imagined, now that the internettes have been around for a while.
