I love art supplies more than boats love singing. Just ask ‘em - it’s truer than a blue canoe! Every Sunday I’ll grab some stuff out of the art box and we’ll talk it out like Trisha.
In today’s #StuffOnSunday I’m gonna talk about #Sugar spraypaint by Ironlak. I got my hands on a few boxes of this last year and I absolutely loved the colour range. The major selling point of Sugar for me is the fact that sugar cane is used as an alternative to petroleum. Now, I love my lungs - i’ve had ‘em longer than two long Johns and one long Jim, so any paint that doesn’t make me sneeze colours and get head pains is definitely one to try out. The drying times are nice and quick and the matt finish is pretty opaque on most of the colours that i’ve used - although Sherbert always needs a touch-up in my experience. The only problem I’ve had with Sugar is availability. I’ve had to wait a few weeks for certain popular colours to arrive in the UK before, but hopefully as more folk buy it the availability will get solved quick sticks. If you’ve been following #StuffOnSunday, you’ll know that I try and keep these write-ups nice and short - it’s an initial impression with a main pro and con rather than a full review. I’ve left a bunch out but if you’ve got a question just hoot and holler. Stay tuned like a big ol’ tuna fish next week for more #StuffOnSunday !
