Last night a woman who went to the show with her daughters approached me and told me that she stalks me every now and then because she enjoys what I post. She acknowledged that I probably piss a lot of people off, but she encouraged me to never stop speaking my mind, because "I make people think", she said. It is probably the first time someone has told me something like that. I've been in fact posting a lot less, and keeping controversial thoughts to a minimum, because (and I'm sorry if this offends anyone) people are fucking pussies who take everything too personal and who don't like to be proven wrong. I know I'm good with thought and reason, and I know I often poop on many parties people have on Facebook and other social networks, but I'm tired of the negative consequences this brings, the isolation, rejection, and misjudgment, and the little support I get in return. The fact that this woman enjoys lurking from the shadows does motivates me, but it would motivate me a lot more to feel I belong to a real group of thinkers right now, not that I will be recognized post-mortem. Obviously, part of my act on social networks is to pretend I'm that arrogant to think my posts will end up immortalizing me, but even that is something most people who read my posts don't get.
If you are reading this, woman from last night, just fucking add me, so you can read all my posts and I can promote my music to you and your kids.
