Hi my name's Ceinwen. I was born in Saskatchewan and trained as a professional dancer at Alberta Ballet and the University of Calgary. While dancing I acquired a minor in English, and became fascinated with the nuances of language. I work now as a multidisciplinary artist in Toronto and incorporate poetry, improvisational skills, and childhood spells into my illustrations to create abstract dreamscapes filled with language and movement. I work primarily with ink, pastels, and digital altering.
