Chunbum Park creates large-scale paintings (approximately 75 x 75 inches) that are inspired by the ideal forms and female beauty. His style must be subconsciously inspired by or related to Cubism and Expressionism because his art invokes the passionate works of the avant-garde such as Gauguin, Matisse, and Picasso. In these works his primarily concern is with figurative abstraction and abstract figuration. Park considers experimentation with the ideal forms (and chaos) as the greatest endeavor in painting.
