He told me that he'd been lucky enough to shoot some the the UK's top bands of the times as they toured the clubs and pubs around the country. Roy told me that he's shot The Beatles, The Animals, The Dave Clarke Five, The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, The Kinks and Freddie And the Dreamers to name but a few. These days he hardly picks up a camera and hasn't shot much in years. I asked him why he stopped and he said that the constant touring, parties and travel took it's toll on his health and he's now paying for it.
