I had a weird dream the other night. In it I was in an unfamiliar occult shop, looking for a specific type of red stone, though my motives for this search are no longer clear. "No, no," said the woman who ran the shop. "This is what you actually need."
She handed me a single tarot card, the Page of Wands.
"Thank you, but I really came for the stone," I said.
"It's not right for you. This is what you need." She pressed the card into my hand and then...I woke up.
I think I've mentioned before that I have worked as a tarot reader, but even so this is the first dream I can recall in many years with overt tarot symbolism in it. Actually, I can't remember any dream where a specific card just plunked into my lap like that.
The Page of Wands is a rush of creative energy, or the stirring of new creative potential. It may come as a sense of restlessness or dissatisfaction with day to day life, or it may involve fantasies about the creative improbable - or impossible. It represents the power of the imagination, and ushers in a time of unleashed creativity.
Thanks, subconscious. That seems pretty clear.
