I keep a list of all the books I read every year. I know this sounds insufferable, but it's useful. I have trouble remembering titles (and authors' names, too), so I include the title, author, format/source, and a one sentence review.
I like to make sure I'm getting my money's worth from my Kindle Unlimited subscription, for instance -- and since I've read 23 Unlimited titles this year, I think that totally counts. (That's about 94 cents a book so far, I think.)
Another fun fact is that I can see that fully 92% of these books were written by women (only 3 titles by dudes) -- and 18% came from the library (counting both physical books and library ebooks).
Also, it's the 39th day of the year, and I've already read 38 books. (I won't keep up that pace. Even though I read quickly, I do things other than read occasionally. I swear.)
I guess it's clear that besides reading, I really seem to enjoy crunching numbers.
