The new season of "Community" streaming on Yahoo is pretty delicious, I must say - almost as awesome as five cans of olives, if you catch my meaning. I really like the new characters, too - especially Paget Brewster's Frankie, whose epic and epically awkward meltdown in the first episode won my heart. But it's the comedy around the edges that's really getting me this season: Shirley's spin off show, the Portuguese "Gremlins" rip off, and most of all...the Dean's secret texting with "Jeffrey."
This explains so much of Dean Pelton's behavior towards Jeff! I think this has been going on for a long time, too. However, as much as I enjoyed the texting subplot of episode 3, I would like to say that my eventual "Community" dream is for the Dean to finally find someone who'll love him back. Man, woman, Dalmatian furry, whatever - I don't care. I just want Craig Pelton to find love, damn it! He may be a terrible dean - okay, yes, he is a terrible dean - but even people who are bad at their jobs deserve love. You hear me, Harmon?
I also think somebody ought to write a "Community/"Clue" crossover fan fic to explain how Britta's parents are Colonel Mustard and Miss Scarlet.
SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE! AND BEYOND!
