Just bustin' in to say "hiiiiiiiii." Also: Do you guys remember that I often have character naming troubles*? Well, the novel I'm currently writing has a Mathilda, a Minerva, a Marnie, and a freakin' Millicent/Millie. How often do you think I'm mistyping names here? So often. So many times.
True story: I grew up knowing a family that named all of its kids with the initials MDM: Michael David M_, Michelle Dawn, M_, et cetera. I don't remember how many of them there were -- five? Six? And then they had one last unexpected son and named him, I kid you not, Buckner Benedict M_. Like, they had totally run out of M and D names. I've been thinking about this constantly since I realized how I'd given everyone an M name. And I feel like that family could have tried a little harder on Bucky. (Bucky's siblings referred to him as Major Disaster M_, naturally. Just for the record.)
*A moment of silence for the Sir Thomas Haverford debacle of 2016. And the Earl of Wyndham/Windom Earle issue of 2017. So maybe two moments of silence?
