For 20 years, Monday, or any day of the week for that matter, were no big deal. Working at Adobe the challenges and interesting output seemed fun most of the time. At The Coca-Cola Company the people made coming into work a pleasure and producing things seen globally was a bit of an ego stroke. Freelancing and contract work for Philips Electronics, The Home Depot, a slew of successful specialty food companies, web startups, healthcare, and higher education, especially higher education, usually was a joy, most days adventures.
Pains me to say after taking the current j-o-b, something I've never felt like I had before, while perhaps a wise financial decision at the time, has me realizing what everyone moans and carries on about concerning hating Mondays.
I need to return to my passions, my love, and a life less ordinary. Where I'm comfortable financially, and every day of the week is just another day of the week.
