When leaving home at nineteen to study architecture, Sam dismissed the idea of modest design and became increasingly fascinated by the kitsch and the colourful, as well as how the public reacts to it.
Through this time, Sam began to find his brand which consisted of four principles; “the absurd, the kitsch, the over-thought, and the stupid”. These have been introduced into his fun, comedic visuals, design work, research projects and his fashion.
