Sometimes at night. . . golden bulbs cast fake sunshine down upon otherwise darkened foot paths. Freaky green lights, set up by well-intentioned builders, filter out through their gated community, through the trees and shrubs and through the very bars that help keep out the unwanted. Sometimes at night, a photographer will notice what a beautiful little scene it all is, and wait for just the right person to walk by and absorb all the well-intentioned light and shadows. Sometimes at night, the photographer's subjects have no idea that he has been waiting just for them, like a well-intentioned trapdoor spider.
