Street photography has its fair share of cliches. Shooting subjects against a wall of graffiti is one of them. So if I am going to do it, the least I can do is frame the elements in a pleasing manner and capture the right kind of subject at the right moment. I was waiting for a downtrodden figure to pass in the opposite direction to mimic the figure on the left. Shooting at night helped to blur the subject, hopefully making him appear as if he were painted onto the wall too.
