Connecting through creativity
New Zealand Students – Submit your work for the opportunity to be featured in the Moonlight exhibition at Silo 6, Auckland, be part of the 2019 Artweek Auckland Programme and have elements from your work featured in the unique AR experience.
Moonlight is an exhibition of artists from divergent spheres brought together to shine a light on creativity, technology and community. Students of all ages combine with professional artists to reveal how creativity connects all of New Zealand. At the heart of the exhibition is a showcase of AR technology that brings the concept of creative connection to life in the palm of your hand.
What is your connection to New Zealand?
Submit your work that reflects how you connect to New Zealand. Be it your culture, your community, the land, how you spend time with your friends and family, a piece of history or a dream for NZ’s future.
There is no restriction on media, Illustration, photography, film, textiles; they want to see whatever it is that connects you to New Zealand
Not only will Moonlighting projects be seen by a global audience of millions on Ello, but the selected students will have the exclusive opportunity to have their work in the upcoming Moonlight exhibition at Silo 6, Auckland, Sept 28 – Oct 13. Moonlight 2019 will also be part of the 2019 Artweek Auckland Programme.
If selected, elements from your work will feature in the unique AR experience of Moonlight that the public will be encouraged to share online gaining huge exposure for all artists involved.
You must be a student currently enrolled in an academic program in New Zealand.
How to Enter:

(1) A single post with up to 3 images relating to the theme
(2) A short description of your work
(3) Name of the school and course you attend
Only complete submissions will be approved.
Opportunity:
A minimum of 4 students will be selected to:
• Participate in the DINZ Moonlight Exhibition at Silo6, Auckland
• Gain exposure through DINZ social media channels and PR around the exhibition
• Gain contacts and a foot in the door with established professionals within the NZ creative industries
Selection Process:
Submissions will be reviewed by DINZ Moonlight & Ello curatorial teams, Then, a group of students will be selected to exhibit in Silo6. We’re excited to see your work and get you more exposure and opportunities.
