Workers at the e-waste dumpsite in Accra, one of the world's largest electronic waste dumps. The dumping site is located in Agbogbloshie, a former wetland in the 60’s and home, during the 80’s, of refugees who fled the conflict in the North part of Ghana. Around 40.000 people live there. Most of the workers of the dumpsite work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week earning around 4 euros per day worked. They work in unhealthy conditions, inhaling toxic smoke by burning the waste.
A young Ghanaian artist, Joseph Awuah-Darko, try to find a way to clean up the e-waste dump and to encourage and train people working at the dumpsite to turn the waste into high-end furniture.
