Kandinsky, Ensemble Multicolore, 1938
In RL, it is much more pastel than this, buoyant and serene. The birdy shape on the left reminds me of the most charming bird who ever lived, my dear Huevo, which makes it automatically an especially awesome painting.

Overall, a great Kandinsky retrospective at the Frist, one of the better shows they've had IMO. We saw a Kandinsky retrospective at the Guggenheim a few years ago that included different paintings, so I feel privileged to have seen so much of his work in person.
