Ello is diverse. There are professionals here who make a living (or try) by what they create. Others here are amateurs who create, but keep their day job. Yet others are curators, and some are appreciators, affecianados. Those here are creators with varying degrees of training and varying levels of commitment. Some who are here may see themselves as tourists looking to find interesting stuff to see, to hear, to read. Others are looking for conversation, companionship, connection. Some here hope that among this diverse herd are those who might want to make a purchase, or at least give some recognition. Ello itself is a work of art in at least two ways. First, Ello is a public benefit corporation, which has profound implications for what it becomes and just as importantly, what it will never become. Second, Ello is for graphic artists and designers (and is still in the process of being created) primarily as an uncluttered gallery. Ello is created also by all of those who post here. It's a community created by all of those who choose participate each day. That would be you.
