"The University of Washington and The Nature Conservancy have created an animated map showing how mammals, birds and amphibians are expected to move in the Western Hemisphere in response to climate change. The visualization draws upon flow models from electronic circuit theory, taking inspiration from existing visualizations of wind flow across the U.S."
Visualizations help us understand the consequences of climate change. This map shows the predicted paths of migration. Animals, insects (and plants) already have become climate refugees seeking more suitable habitats. Note that the map shows migration of entire species, not just individuals.
