I used to think I had a lot of leaves to rake up when we lived in Bakersfield, California. One Modesto Ashe, two Japanese Maple, eight River Birch and three Aptos Blues; not to mention the neighbor's stuff and the rest of the state. After moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2016, well, it's no contest. Not only do we have leaves, there are pine cones, black cottonwood fluff coming from somewhere, blackberry vines, pine needles, pine somethings, etc. Most of the year, I get a fairly good cardio workout just raking!
