Well darling if yar in need ov a laugh,
one might wonder if a Scotsman in Australia werr thinking of hem, hum, whateverya fancy a name for it, putting together Broch and Bracadale and Don and Dee, as the Dee and Don rivers are in the same region it seemeth. Crocodile Dundee, yeah, ha, very curious isn't it. What would make a bloke Don an Dee and add Bracadale on it? I don't know, constructions of the Geats. Wouldn't be the first (or last, or only) Geat in Australia. Hey, I've mentioned it in one breadth. A bunch of geats and skotts fiddling around, well some of the poets n minstrels and craftsfolk are good at turning out tapestries and poetrise oc songr and such.
"thair net Crocodiles in Skotland! ye git"
"well thair be Vicings n munsters, that much Merida knoweth, n thair be saemunstrs too"
"Ay, that'd be true, ay I am taught"
I was checking out some old maps of Sweden and the North Sea, the Baltic sea, etc. some days/weeks back and not really getting anything useful by this mid-late medieval Northern European shopmen. But they did get one thing right in spirit: their North Seas were filled with monsters. If in doubt, check out the Travel and History channel.
