Long before the internet

In our little town we had a small variety store that had a pool hall in the back room. Two pool tables, three pinball machines, And an assortment of "gentlemen's magazines." As you can imagine, this place was off limits to we little rascals. (According to our parents anyway. Julius, the proprietor, was unconcerned....if we had money to spend, we were tolerated. But he wouldn't let us near the magazines. Like I said though..it was a small variety store so he couldn't stay in the back room keeping an eye on us when customers walked in. Not that we ever took advantage of that. chuckle chuckle, wink wink,
Sometimes on a saturday night he'd set up chairs in the back room and show movies.....We were NOT tolerated there.
