So, NSFW month at ello. Hmmmm. I am confused and conflicted when I try to define "adult content".
I know people who will allow their "tweeners" to watch all kinds of graphically violent slash movies but their horrified if junior sees a breast. I know people who are perfectly comfortable with home nudity.
I am disgusted by events that bill themselves as "family Friendly" because they ban alcohol. I took my children to every summertime party I went to. I wanted them to see people using alcohol (et al) responsibly, as well as providing opportunities to see alcohol (et al) abused, misused, and the consequences. Pointing out the girl who puked, pissed her pants, and passed out, ("Her parents must be real proud, huh?)is a great teaching moment.
I am not sure why some people consider nudity to be pornographic, or "adult Content", as it were. I'm not sure, but i suspect that there is a male-centric aspect to our definition of acceptable nudity.
