It happened again last night. It happens from time to time. rabbits gather in the yard (three of them last night) and pretend innocence while plotting against the household. Lucky for me my trusted guard dog was alert to the threat and started barking to alert me to the threat. And its a good thing too, no one wants to fall victim to marauding rabbits at 2 A.M.
As the good @Capndad has noted, there are some people who DO NOT wish to hear holiday music too early. I am one of them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no "Bah Humbug" kind of guy, but I feel the season, the day, is under constant assault from the merchants of trinkets and baubles and cellophane stars. I actually like going into the shopping crowds when I'm not buying, just to enjoy the ever-so-slightly lighter, friendlier ambiance. I'm not offended by people wishing me a merry christmas, and I issue the same wish many times myself. There's certainly no harm in it and it evokes nice feelings. For those who are offended by well wishers.....get a fucking life. Get in the spirit
