While people have been social distancing this year and sequestering themselves at home during the pandemic, the eCommerce industry and online sales have seen traumatic growth.
According to a recent Salesforce study, 63% of consumers said the way they buy things has “transformed” this year. 58% of consumers said they expect to do more online shopping after the pandemic compared with the BC (i.e. "before COVID") era, and 80% of business buyers expect to do more online purchasing post-pandemic than they did before.
So eCommerce sales, in general, show no signs of slowing down. Even online bidding sites and penny auctions like DealDash have experienced an increase in customers and sales. I am guilty of this as well because not only can you buy at home safely, but you can engage in a fun bidding environment, which is a great way to pass time and save some money. I would have never said this pre-pandemic, but I definitely recommend checking it out! I saw similar reviews of DealDash on SiteJabber mentioning that the platform is an entertaining way to pass time and you get some quality luxury and everyday products delivered pretty quickly.
