Deism: A Man's First Creed
Every man and woman is a Deist in their first reasonable creed of theology in that they believe in a God who created existence. That it only stands to reason that creation requires or required a creator to exist. Beyond this point everyone sees it perhaps slightly different from each other. This is to be expected. No one should be forcefully made to believe the samethings against their own sense of reason and logic. As a Deist I believe a Supreme Being or God exists, I believe God governs existence by his divine providence, and that God's divine intelligence is behind all the workings of creation, at the mircocosmic scale of creation and the macrocosmic scale of creation, at all levels of creation God's mind and intelligence is at work, and God is fully directing everything in existence by his divine providence. I believe the so called holy books of men of the revealed religions or organized religions, should be interpreted as metaphors, myths and allegories. I believe creation itself is the true book and word of God or Nature's God or the Lord Satan as I like to call him. There's plenty of room for different beliefs, ideas, opinions and freedom of thought with a personal interpretation of things.
