“Every Second Counts” interactive online art project took part during 2016 starting on February 1st. Artists, friends and art lovers sent in photos they took following a subject matter I chose for of each month. After collecting these photos I then created collages using digital software with the idea of pointing out historical and social issues or concepts that interests us all, with the hope to bring attention to what’s going on around us, as well as to point out how our digital lives can bring us together no matter where we are. In this case, using digital platforms to create art.
Friends, artists and art lovers kindly took part from UK, Sweden, Turkey, Italy, USA, Canada, Cyprus, Iceland, Austria for the whole year. Thanks to all who made it happen! British/Turkish artist; After completing my Fine Art Degree course at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2002, I was selected for the “Best of New British Graduates” by the public gallery Beatrice Royal and showed at the Battersea Art Fair. The following year one of my works was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Show, which got international attention as well as interviews – from Rolling Stone to the BBC. Since then I have been a practising artist joining art fairs, community projects and national and international group and solo shows regularly. https://www.facebook.com/pg/DiseraArt/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1974659939461228
