After completing my Fine Arts Degree course at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2002, I was selected for the “Best of New British Graduates” by the public gallery Beatrice Royal and showed at the Battersea Art Fair. The following year one of my works was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Show, which got international attention as well as interviews – from Rolling Stone to the BBC. Since then I have been a practising artist joining art fairs, community projects and national and international group and solo shows regularly.
A bit about the work: Other than the last piece (digital) and the wood shavings covered manikin, all works are oil on curved aluminium sheets and 100cm, 150cm length. www.dilekokeeffe.com
