On Monday it was still raining, so we went for a walk on the beach at Dalabrog, but didn’t stay very long. Tuesday, however, saw a marked improvement in the weather. It was 25 degrees apparently and boy was it hot! First of all, we went to a beach at the top of South Uist by Cill Amhlaidh
The water was very tropical, and we even had a paddle, up to our bellies!
The view down on to the beach was really lovely
Then mummy and daddy got talking to the croft gardeners Chris & Christine, who they had seen on a blog site (https://croftgarden.wordpress.com). They were very interesting and showed mummy and daddy all round and gave them some tea. Then we went to another beach to make the most of the weather at Geàrraidh ma Mònadh and bumped into Sean & Fiona who we had camped next to at Balranald. They had given mummy and daddy some shells to look out for on the beaches, and daddy was very pleased to report he had found one! When we were on the beach we saw a lovely mermaid!
And as it was getting late the sun was just starting to go down
We played for a while, spotted a seal in the distance and then headed home for dinner. It had been a very long and hot day
On Wednesday, Scratchy was recovering from not doing anything, at all!
Whilst Scratchy was resting, we all packed up ready to move site. Until next time, Love & Licks, Rosie xxxxxxx
