Firstly, I must apologise for Jim’s blog. Mummy really shouldn’t let him near the laptop. Anyway, I is back, so here goes! It’s one of our favourite weekends of the year…ROCKHILL!!! It was a long drive from the Gower, but we eventually got their mid afternoon on the Saturday. Some people had arrived as early as Wednesday, so the party was in full swing! The camp field looked amazing
Some of the airstreams had gone to town, there is a tradition for Airstreams to have flamingos (Photo taken from Ian Jamieson’s Facebook!)
and this one had a Scooby doo (Ian’s pic again!)
It was quite a late night sitting round the campfire, and I got cold so we went home to the warm. Although the underfloor heating wasn’t on as we don’t have electric in the field, but it was warmer! (Ian’s pic!)
On Sunday we decided to have a lie in after the late night
And then we went to play ball with Andrew & Dougal. I played a really good game, I think I was very clever. I ran for the ball, but couldn’t find it. So for the next ten minutes, mummy, daddy and Andrew were all looking for my ball, much to my amusement! When they decided to give up, mummy said to me one last time, where’s your ball? So I turned round and picked it up!! I just didn’t fancy playing today. It was much more entertaining watching them hunt for my ball. Must try that again one day!
When we got back to the field we spent a lot of time talking to people (Photo copied from Joanne Lister’s facebook!)
We really liked Dom & Linds’ cute airstream (Ian’s pic).
Then in the evening we had another late night talking round the bonfire, so me and Jim went to bed early and left mummy and daddy talking! In the morning it was time to say our goodbyes. We were really sad to be saying goodbye everyone, especially Andrew & Dougal, but I’m sure we will see them again soon (spoiler alert!)
So we said our goodbyes and headed off back to Moreton to spend some time near “home”. Until next time, love & licks, Rosie xxxx
