Journey to the Outer Hebrides
So the start of our new adventure went well, with a stopover in Tebay where there was a fellow Airstream!
In the morning, mummy & daddy refuelled in the services restaurant and then we headed north to……
There was still snow on the mountains, which was worrying as mummy’s brother and sister in law were doing the three peaks challenge in a few weeks time!
We stopped off at Loch Cluanie on route to Skye, which was a lovely spot
Scratchy decided to take it easy whilst we explored
In the morning, after some more walks we headed off. We were in no rush as the ferry wasn’t until 6pm, although we had made it onto the morning ferry but hadn’t realised…never mind!
We can see the Skye bridge…yay!
The scenery (even through the heated windscreen) is amazing
After loitering at Uig for hours, the ferry finally came in
and then we were off…..Lochmaddy here we come!
We finally arrived at Moorcroft, our favourite campsite, (http://www.moorcroftholidays.co.uk) at about 20:30 and chatted for hours before extreme pitching and going to bed. Until next time, love & licks Rosie xxxx
