My Love, My Life,
You filled my days with literally a hundred poems. And each day, every moment with you is nothing short of pure happiness. Perhaps the feeling was so pure that I never want to let go any of it. It has gotten to a point where I entirely forgot you are not mine to keep.
But if you must know, I paid every ounce of happiness with all the tears I could cry. It was never easy. Never.
I never saw the sky so bright as when I'm looking under it with you. I never laughed so hard. I never screamed so loud. All these things, all these I've missed so much, I will never be again.
Love came to me in the form of a beautiful blending of me and you. Love came to me in the form of a simple you. Every thing about you turns into something I love.
Your scent, your touch, your gentleman self.
Your jokes, your laugh, your careless and carefree self.
I wish you didn't have to love me back so it wouldn't feel so good, so it wouldn't hurt so much.
My heart walked faster than my feet towards you. I didn't realize how much I was so distant from my old self until I began feeling so hurt to see you say goodbye every night. It shatters my fantasy of being in love in a free world.
If I can buy time just to change how our lives turned out to be, I wouldn't mind being poor as long as I can spend the remaining days of my life with you.
But we have to live with what we have chosen. This is our lives. This is us.
I never hated love this much.
I will love you until time steals all your memories from me.
