People say no love is perfect but they never met you.
They don't know; they'll never understand; they don't have a clue.
Of how this feeling transformed everything gray, plain and worn
Into a spectrum of bright colors in a place unknown.
The words you say and how you speak of it to me simply,
Is like putting notes together to form a symphony.
The way you stare, how you read me like a familiar book,
As you effortlessly make your way through this heart you took.
I would rather lose you than to not have loved you at all.
Loving you made me forget the times when I felt alone.
Crying silently, tears falling when no one is looking,
Seeking for something I can't explain, always just seeking.
When my life was compounded with such sadness and anger,
From losing the ones I love in a time when they matter.
A mix of hate, regret and bitter loss on a palette,
A collection of broken things, things I need to accept.
Then you came, you and your beautiful, unpretentious self.
I watched your heart fit mine as my great sadness slowly left.
My restlessness were gone, my questions were answered.
You calmed my raging storms; the sunniest mornings you showed.
As all of the necessary vowels and consonants ,
Emerged to create poems about how all things turned vibrant.
As you made me taste all the wonderful flavors of love,
Revolting and satisfied with what little time I have.
Love rose from merely the plain sight of you, from knowing you.
I never felt so alive and inspired, all things seem new.
I will gather our mem'ries, you always smiling at me,
Bundle them tightly while I love you for eternity.
