When everything around you seems dark, look again, you might be the light!
“It’s so dark in here,” a voice squeaks, “Why can’t I see a light?” Firefly is scared. She hears buzzing around her, but sees no one. “Hello?” she asks with a soft trembling voice. ‘Is someone there?’
Firefly looks sad. She feels terribly lonely in the dark. What she doesn’t know, is that all her friends are all around her. They wonder why she can’t see the light herself. “We’re here!” they shout one by one, waving enthusiastically at her. Firefly doesn’t see it, she only sees the dark.
Suddenly Firefly hears a familiar voice. “Look behind you.” the familiar voice says. Firefly turns her head to see who is there. She blinks for a moment at the bright light.
“All this time you thought you were in the dark, while actually you are the light in our life and we all come to you.” Moth smiles as he dances merrily around her little light. Now that the darkness is gone, Firefly doesn’t feel scared anymore. Her light ensures that her friends will always have her back so she will never be lonely, ever again.
