Born in Bardstown, KY, Clare is a visual artist primarily focused in acrylic painting. She is currently working towards her undergraduate degree at Bellarmine University in Art with an Emphasis in Painting and a minor in Art History. The influences for her art are drawn from her local environment and popular culture. She is also devoted to other forms of art, by designing sets for theatre productions at Nelson County High School, the Bardstown Community Theatre, and Bellarmine University's Theatre Program.
Her most recent exhibitions include University Open at ArtsPlace Gallery in Lexington, KY, 225: Artists Celebrating Kentucky History at Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, KY and Donate Without Loss and Image and Word at the Kaviar Forge and Gallery in Louisville, KY. Her work will be featured in the upcoming exhibit Lucky 13 at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery in Mesquite, NV. (November 6-December 30) and Abstract in Kentucky at Kaviar Forge and Gallery in Louisville (January 26-February 24, 2018). She is currently one of the artists in the Arthur N. BecVar Artist in Residence Program at Bellarmine University for 2017-2018.
