Greenwich Peninsula, London. At the turn of the millennium Britain held an exhibition at a new construction called The Millennium Dome. It was widely ridiculed, and an abiding image was the Queen not knowing how to hold hands to sing Auld Lang Syne as the new year/century/millennium arrived. The Dome looked like a white elephant. But 17 years later, things are a little different. It now hosts the biggest bands in the world, there's a cable car so you can cross the Thames and see 'industrial London', there are many restaurants and many, new homes and offices. And you can cross the meridian. It is a very vibrant place indeed and has some interest architecture. I've tried to capture that.
