The basement floor
The basement of the Palau Guell was formerly used as a stable . It was reached from the ground floor from two entrances : a gentle ramp that was used to make the horses go up and down a spiral ramp , very steep and paved with pebbles , which was used by people.
Gaudi Güell met in the late nineteenth century. Their relationship spawned a series of architectural works that are now known worldwide , including the Palau Güell, a palace in the city center of Barcelona.
