"I am so very grateful to Ello and the Ello community for this collaboration. I am also overwhelmed (in a good way) by the amount of entries and incredibly inspiring work that has been shared.
I ultimately chose a final collection that reflects the diversity of submissions ranging in aesthetic, medium, and color story. Undoubtedly influenced by the psychology of enduring winter and emerging into spring, I focused to balance a majority of color palettes towards more color driven and bolder explorations (versus neutral or desaturated stories).
You will see me switching up my editorial approach from day to day through this two-week collab. Some days I pair images that are seemingly so different, but share an incredible synergy through color, composition, or theme ... and some days, the presented images and palettes were chosen simply due to their emotional impact."
