We've seen some dope submissions so far for the RELISH VOL.2 – Los Angeles Artist Invite.
RELISH is a series of submission-fueled print magazine releases paired with exhibitions celebrating unsung and pioneering creators, one city at a time. A collaboration between GRØSS Magazine and Ello.
The second volume celebrating artists in the Los Angeles creative community, RELISH wants YOU to get your ass in gear and submit your artwork so they can get you published and shown in a rad showcase.
• 10-15 artists will be selected to appear in a weekend pop-up show in Los Angeles, California
• 35 artists will be selected to be featured in a limited-edition publication
• Artists may also be interviewed, featured in GRØSS and Ello newsletters, and have access to video and photo assets of the gallery show

Alex Cabal is an artist born and raised in Los Angeles. Her personal work consists primarily of colorful women set in bright contrasting backgrounds blooming with flowers, leaves, and various plant life.
Lizzy Nicholson is an art and fashion photographer who takes her cues from subcultures, symbolism and Chinese cigarette cartons. She prefers to 'street cast' using interesting faces on public transport instead of vanilla-looking agency models.
Joohelen loves making gouache painting and digital illustration. Her inspiration comes from warmth, happiness, and amusement she sees in her day to day life.
Shibo Chen: Visual artist. Majoring in graphic design at California Institute of the Arts. Always get inspirations from the fashion world, using illustration, collage, graphic design and animation to show the beauty of fashion.
After a brief stint of youth in Rhode Island, David Behar spent most of his life in South Florida. He then moved to Los Angeles after receiving a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. For a little over the past decade, he’s been shooting the beach and not much else.
Working under the alias defectivebarbie, Christina Leta is known for her contemporary style combining abstraction & realism to convey visceral portraits of self. Obscured eyes & celestial bodies distort each portrait to reveal a symbolic soul, or inner world, & emphasize the vastness of self & perception.
Kayla Alise is a Los Angeles based photographer who -- in a world of instant gratification and unyielding immediacy -- believes that the building of a story is more important than ever. Her goal is to infuse every bit of work with something meaningful that makes the viewer think, or enraptures the eye to rove endlessly along the details of the piece.
Jenny Yuen was born in California, lived in New York and currently works in Paris, France. After receiving her BFA degree in Painting from Boston University, Jenny Yuen honed her artistic skills at the art studios of Takashi Murakami as a painter.
Liza Feurtado is a visual artist based in Los Angeles creating both analog and digital work. Through both contemporary and traditional techniques, such as digital collage, abstract video and painting, she explores the interaction between color, shape, and texture.
Ryan is interested in depicting intimate moments of psychological and emotional introspection, vulnerability and self-awareness. Moments we all experience but often shy away from.
François Aubret is a French street photographer who captures the hidden geometry and patterns in overlooked urban scenes. His "Graphic Encounters" turn the mundane of everyday errands into extraordinary images.
