Dearest Ello community,
It’s been brought to our attention that there is a defrauder operating across multiple social platforms, including Ello. The infiltrators are presenting as users claiming they work at Digital Currency Group (DCG) and inviting valued Ello community members to collaborate with them.
Please report these users if they get in contact with you. Do not accept any collaboration invites that do not feel legitimate.
These profiles are being removed from Ello as they are being discovered, please feel free to highlight any such users to our community management team to help stop this from happening.
If someone is following a large amount of people, yet has no followers themselves and have not posted any artwork, there is a chance this is not a legitimate account.
We run an open platform encouraging creatives to share their passion and amazing work freely. We do not wish to change our creative first approach, so please be careful when pursuing collaboration opportunities on Ello.
