With the ubiquitous digital image taking centre stage and the decline of the printed photograph, Charlie (a british artist based in Montpellier, France) presents the printed photograph as a thin receipt or a fossil…a half truth, a trace, possibly a clue to the past.
“I never liked photography,” Robert Mapplethorpe is quoted as saying, “Not for the sake of photography. I like the object. I like the photographs when you hold them in your hand.”

BART Sucharski (@bartsucharski)
The artist creating at the interface of forms, structures and domains. His works are often "extended towards the outside", while escaping from a flat surface. Space allows him to play with chiaroscuro, whereas the natural deposits such as dust or fines offer additional structures. He values geometry but likes the air in the plastic arts as well.
He gets inspired by all the stimuli and impressions he experiences. A Polish poster school, nature, New York passers-by, "Master and Margaret." Love. He closes them in a painted pictogram.
He feels his artistic world as isolated and more sensitive in a sense. For him the art brings together traumas and problems,

This is my vision about fairies, as creatures from natural environments mixed with unexpected objects. The isn't a real explanation behind my works, it's pure aesthetics. And everyone can find their own meanings.
