Happy Pi Day! I like tucking into these funny little celebrations: not a feast day, not a legislated observance, not a day fuelled by the greeting card industry, but a day that calls for a little food-based whimsy.
My addition to the communal love-in for one of our favourite irrational numbers? Tourtière, the Quebecois meat pie. This version features lightly seasoned ground pork, wrapped in a flakey pastry crust. Coincidently perfect for today's cool grey weather.
