The Artist-Feature #1 with Julia Anderson
Well we are happy to introduce you a little series of artist-features, which we will post once a month, introducing you glitch artists and showing you their awesome work. With number #1 we present you Julia Anderson.
"Hello! I'm Julia, a 22-year-old multidisciplinary designer and recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design. I graduated from SCAD with a BFA in Graphic Design, and I strive to create effective visual design solutions with a sharp focus on sustainability and the natural world.
Design and nature are two things I have always been passionate about pursuing, and I believe that quality design has the power to create radical change - this is my goal for the future.
Aside from graphic design, I have a range of experience and interests in photography, film, motion graphics, painting, illustration, user experience, glitch art, projection mapping and many, many more. At the end of the day I would absolutely label myself a generalist, I never want to stop learning and growing in the design field.
Some of the hobbies I can confidently admit to: hours spent creating & organizing my Spotify playlists, thoroughly searching the art book section of Goodwill, Game of Thrones marathons (I dressed as Daenerys for Halloween), hiking + exploring the great Pacific Northwest (& anywhere else I get the opportunity to travel to) and paddleboarding in the Gulf of Mexico.
My ultimate lifelong goal is to move to the Faroe Islands and live off the grid." (source: juliaranderson.com)
