Excerpt from the shitty first draft...
As he splashed water on his face, he couldn’t get the image of Ruby in that red dress out of his head, and he grew even harder. He was going to have to get control of himself because there was no way he was going to be able to walk around his party with a bulge in his pants. Perhaps he could just tell his mother he his leg was bothering him and he was going to go lie down for a while, but that was only going to be a temporary fix. What was he going to do if this happened again the next time he saw Ruby? She wouldn’t be wearing the dress, but Evan knew it wasn’t just the dress. It was a combination of the way she smelled like strawberries when he had hugged her, and the way her body felt inside his arms along with the dress that was doing it for him.
“Fuuuck,” he growled, and looked at himself in the mirror.
He slapped himself on the cheek a couple of times, as if trying to wake himself up. He had never been attracted to her like this before. He had always been fond of her, and he had always cared about her, but she had never had a sexual pull on him before. Even when he had kissed her that one New Year’s Eve a couple of years back, it had felt nice, and it had satisfied some of his curiosity about her, but it hadn’t made him want to take her to his bed and ravish her like he wanted to do now. Evan took a couple of deep breaths and tried to focus. Maybe if he thought about the Yankees or the Rangers, like he did when he was trying not to come to soon, he would be able to get his cock to stand down and he could return to the party.
He would have to avoid Ruby. He didn’t want to, but it was the only way he was going to be able to control himself. He could go over to her house later in the week and talk to her, maybe even take her out to lunch, and see if he still felt attracted to her or if this was a feeling triggered because he had missed her so much. All Evan knew at that moment was that he needed to stay away from her.
“You’re a fucking asshole, Evan,” he said to his reflection.
