From what I gather: Man yells at a lady. Kid tells him not to talk to her that way. Man tells kid to get off his lawn & calls the kid a cunt
**Man denies calling kid a cunt, but another kid says he heard it, & man tells him to stfu bc "u weren't even there." Kid says he was there.
Man grabs kid by the collar of his jacket. Won't let go. Video starts.
**Although the man has grabbed the kid and won't let go, his body language is relaxed, and suggests he is unafraid of the kid.
Kid says his dad is a cop. Apparently, man has said that he himself is a cop. Kid repeatedly pleads to be let go. Man refuses.
**The man is in plainclothes. Anybody can claim they are a cop. Why should the kids believe him? The man has kidnapped the kid at this point
Man is also holding onto a backpack. A girl pulls on the backpack, and the man's attention is briefly taken away from the kid.
The kid uses the opportunity to try to get free by pushing against the man. It doesn't work. The backpack comes free; the kid does not.
The kid pleads again to be let go. The man refuses. A few other kids walk up to them. The man tells them to back up.
The kid says the man tried to hit him in the nuts. The man doesn't deny it; he just keeps gripping the kid. The other kids don't back up.
**The man exerted his power by kidnapping the kid. The other kids seem 2 realize the ability 2 flip this power imbalance is in their numbers
The kid asks, "Don't you need to pick on somebody your own size?" Man shrugs; says no. The man starts dragging kid toward another property.
Kid: "Stop grabbing me. You tackled me first. I didn't do anything to hurt you." Man: "You shouldn't have [threatened] to shoot me."
Kid: "I didn't say that! You're lying; I said I'm gonna sue you!" Man keeps dragging kid. Other kid tries to separate them.
Man: "Get your fucking hands off me. Get your fucking hands off me right now." Kid: "Get your fucking hands off me then!"
Man keeps pulling kid toward other property. Kid keeps pleading to be let go. Kid tells man he's only 13.
Kid: "You tackled me on the ground... You're not a cop... I said I was gonna sue you. Can't you hear?" Man: "Yeah, I heard."
Other kid walks up and tries to separate them. Man tells him to back up. Kid: "You back up, you're the one that's hurting me!"
Other kid still tries to separate them. Another kid tackles the man. Man falls over the hedge separating the properties, still grabbing kid.
Other kids move to intervene. Man draws gun from waistband and drags kid over the hedge. Other kids start backing up. Man shoots. Kids run.
Kid stands up. Man is still clutching him. Cops arrive. They put the kid in handcuffs and talk to the man.
To reiterate: Man kidnaps kid bc he says kid threatened to shoot him. Kid says he threatened to sue the man. Man pulls out gun & shoots. Cops arrest kid.
The police condoned the kidnapping of a child bc he allegedly threatened to shoot a man, & the man who actually shot a gun walks free.
