The best part of staying away from a manuscript is coming back with better ideas. I'm writing two additional chapters at the end of The Hunt. Once they're finished, I'll decide whether they mess with the book's flow or not. These changes call back to things from The Dragon's Tear.
They could provide more closure, but likely will not. My plan for this NaNoWriMo is to blitz through a sequel. I have a solid year before having to re-evaluate this whole writing thing, so if worst comes to worst, I'd like to leave off with a final entry into this series.
Re-evaluation won't mean I'll quit writing, but it's not going to be like it is now. I published two novellas this year, have a full length novel on the way, three more novellas to end this season of Wildstar, and a sci-fi book. That's 7 releases this year! I went two years with just The Dragon's Tear to my name, so I'm happy that things have turned around.
I'll be off to write some more Wildstar for the evening now.
