On the plus side, I also lost a bit of the weekend to much nicer activities, particularly:
* Rolling small spherical magnets across a wooden floor that's held together with nails, which turns out to be vastly entertaining for a surprisingly long time.
* Reading all six issues so far of Loki: Agent of Asgard, which turns out to be laugh-out-loud funny and excellently fan-culture-aware, as well as interestingly exploring ideas about Story and the struggle to escape one's own narrative and reinvent oneself.
* Rewatching the first episode of Day Break, which still has nothing to do with vampires, with Kam, who hadn't seen it before. (http://www.kith.org/journals/jed/2013/11/26/14762.html)
