"Tears Rolling Down My Cheek," laser cut and silkscreened felt necklace
Created in the midst of an artistic crisis, when the artist felt as if she truly has no artistic or creative vision, she forced herself to continue gluing and sewing all of the pieces together. Arranging and rearranging the pieces together for hours, only to find that she was never satisfied with the final arrangement. The process of creation became an art piece and a time of bittersweet self-discovery. Like her art directors that brought her to tears before this shoot with crass judgment of an entirely separate project, she found that there is always something to fix or improve and that she may never find true gratification.
