A few months ago some longtime cyber friends and i posted short video selfies greeting each other. We're planning a 'meet up' in New Orleans Sept 2016. One of them saw a necklace i made myself over a decade ago that had a Thunderbird centerpiece and liked it so much she wanted something similar. She first sent me the sun pendant in this shot. It had been so long since i'd made mine and my fingers more gnarled now i was worried about the end result, but she liked it so much she's asked me to make one for a pewter cross she has with silver beads instead of the goldtone ones.
In the meantime while shopping for the supplies i came across some i plan to use for necklaces for myself. The 'antique' looking butterfly bottom left really appeals to me but i haven't been able to find metallic toned beads of the right shade to look good with it....i'm thinking maybe i'll go with dark wood ones? The Abalone disc i'm going to braid at least three colors of paracord to make the 'chain' for it.
