A street photographer who loves visual art. Billy, Class of 80 joined the US Army and bought a Olympus OM-1 35mm film camera. Working with the 2nd Armoured Cav we spent much time in the woods so soon I bought a Nikon F3 camera. I loved 35mm film with great 25 ISO color and Infrared film until digital cameras changed the World.
My favorite photographers are Ansel Adams for art and Henri Cartier-Bresson for street photography. I'm all digital these days and love to pack light and freeze at night. I prefer natural light and wide lens when possible, my Olympus Pen F camera with my 17mm f/1.8, 45mm f/1.8 for portraits and the 60mm Macro close photographs.

This is where we share images of bridges, piers, and walkways. Old, new, railroad, car, pedestrian, rope, stone, iron, or concrete. If it was created to help humans cross a vertical gap, then let us share. Please be polite.

The focal point of my photography is the unseen, the ephemeral, and the emergence of world under the mysterious and ever-changing sky.
My influences are multiple spanning from painting and sculpture, via philosophy - mainly the hermeneutics of thinkers like Heidegger, Vattimo, Gadamer, Arendt and more - to photographers as different as Eikoh Hosoe, Shomei Tomatsu, Shoji Ueda, Daido Moriyama, Masahisa Fukase, Kikuji Kawada, and Ikko to Magnum photographers.
"I'm just a human being trying to make it in a world that is very rapidly losing it's understanding of being human."
If you see beauty in something, don’t wait for others to agree.

A fortunate life, childhood a constant parade of imaginative people who were caring, entertaining and influential. Falling asleep on a beach is a constant source of pleasure.
